– yet they sent police to deliver a notice
KUALA TERENGGANU – “I’ll ignore this notice in advance and bring this issue to the courts to resolve,” the final word given by Haji Salleh Embong responding to the notice of moving out of his personal land, issued by the Land ad District Office on Wednesday.
Haji Salleh, who is the Chairman of the Action Committee Kampung Banggol Donas says, he will not move even if the government issues a notice of transfer as he already lived there for a long time.
“Why should I move this is my family land and I am not staying on state-owned land or (I am not staying) illegally. “I will take action court before 21 days from the date of the notice, let the court decide, “he said.
Haji Salleh is one of the Kampung Banggol Donas resident who ordered to move by the government, involved in the construction of the road and bridge from Jeram Tokkong to Teluk Pasu.
He claimed that, no proper discussion conducted by the Land and District Office for the project that started on 2008 but admitted that some officer met him to offer a compensation for the land.
Unfortunately, the money came later than any discussion yet, the contractor have started their work before the government getting the land owner permission.
“I am not a criminal, I am ex-Umo Bahagian committee members……..why they sent a police for delivering the notice,”he said and added that, it is better for the force to curb the crime that increased in recent years.
