Muslims in the country will celebrate Hari Raya Haji (Aidiladha) on Sept 12, Assistant Secretary of the Council of Rulers Mohd Aseral Jusman announced on Thursday night.
“In carrying out the order of the Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, and after being agreed upon by Duli-Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja-Raja, I hereby declare that 1 Zulhijjah 1437 Hijrah is on Saturday, Sept 3 2016.
“As such, Hari Raya Korban (10 Zulhijah) for all the states in Malaysia is fixed for Monday, Sept 12, 2016,” he said when announcing the date over Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), here. – Bernama
