KUALA TERENGGANU – Terengganu will not dissolve the state legislative assembly today in line with the dissolution of Parliament.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said said this was because Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin would only be returning from overseas late Wednesday.
Ahmad said he would arrange to have an audience with the Sultan “soon” without specifying a date.
The Terengganu assembly expires on May 5.
Ahmad earlier chaired the state exco’s weekly meeting at Wisma Darul Iman.
