KUALA TERENGGANU: The flood situation in Terengganu has improved with 1186 victims from 299 families remained at 16 relief centres in six districts.
State Welfare Department portal stated as at 1pm today, a total of 643 people from 163 families seek shelter at two relief centres in Marang.
In Kemaman, 417 victims from 101 families were still staying at seven evacuation centres.
In Hulu Terengganu, 54 victims from 18 families were seeking shelters at two centres while only 34 people from nine families remained at three relief centres in Setiu.
Kuala Terengganu and Besut remained with one relief centre each with 22 victims of five family and 16 people from three families respectively.-NST
