The 62nd PAS Annual Assembly to be held in Kelantan from June 2 to 4 will focus on the party’s preparation in facing the 14th General Election (GE14).
PAS vice-president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said the assembly, to be attended by about 2,000 people including delegates and observers, would be held at the Pusat Tarbiah Islamiah Kelantan (PUTIK), Pengkalan Chepa here.
“This is an important assembly to face the general election besides determining the new direction for PAS,” he told reporters after a function to fete the Kelantan Media, here today.
Mohd Amar said the annual assemblies for the three wings of the party, namely the Ulama Wing, Youth Wing and Wanita Wing would be held here (Kota Baru) on May 31 and June 1. — Bernama
