MARANG – It has been four years since the passing of his father but his words of wisdom remain ringing loud in the mind of Abdul Rahim Abdullah.
“Before his death, he often encouraged me and motivated me to study hard,” said Abdul Rahim, who scored 5As in last year’s Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) examination and emerged the state’s top student.

Still, Abdul Rahim, the eighth child of 10 siblings, was stunned by the results, saying that although he had indeed studied hard, he did not expect the result to be this good.
