KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 (Bernama) — PAS on Wednesday expressed support for calls by the representatives of three member states of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) to convene an emergency meeting of the OIC to discuss action against Israeli aggression in Al-Quds.
PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said in a statement that Israeli aggression against the al-Aqsa Mosque went beyond the sanity of human civilisation.
Syrian Parliament Speaker Mahmoud a-Abrash, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin urged the OIC to hold an emergency meeting to discuss effective measures against the Zionist aggression against holy sites and Palestinian civilians.
